Dr. Asnar L. Aloro, PhD, LPT is a Filipino educator, researcher, and science education specialist with extensive experience in teaching, environmental science, biological sciences, and educational research. He currently serves as College Instructor III at Laguna State Polytechnic University – San Pablo City Campus (LSPU-SPCC), where he has been actively involved in instruction, research, and academic development. His teaching career spans over a decade, having previously served as an elementary teacher and part-time college instructor before assuming a full-time academic position.

Dr. Aloro earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Education, major in Science Education, from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA. He also holds a Master of Arts in Education, major in Administration and Supervision, from PHINMA Union College of Laguna, a Certificate in Teaching Proficiency from Laguna State Polytechnic University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Visayas State University–Alangalang Campus. His multidisciplinary educational background has enabled him to integrate environmental science, biology, educational leadership, and pedagogy into his teaching and research endeavors.

As an active researcher, Dr. Aloro has authored and co-authored numerous scholarly publications in the fields of science education, biology, microbiology, environmental management, public health, climate change, biodiversity conservation, agricultural science, and curriculum development. His research interests include environmental sustainability, biology education, emergency preparedness, antimicrobial studies, radiation safety, graduate tracer studies, teacher development, and community-based environmental initiatives. His published works contribute to advancing scientific knowledge while addressing practical challenges in education, environmental conservation, agriculture, and public health.

Beyond research publication, Dr. Aloro continuously strengthens his scholarly expertise through participation in national and international conferences, seminars, laboratory trainings, and professional development programs. He has attended specialized training in molecular biology, microbiology, biodiversity conservation, graduate teacher education, educational technology, and research capability development, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning and research excellence.

Dr. Aloro is likewise an active member of professional organizations, serving as External Treasurer of the Philippine Association of Graduate Students in Teacher Education and having previously held various leadership positions in academic and community organizations. Through his dedication to teaching, research, leadership, and professional service, he continues to promote scientific inquiry, educational innovation, and sustainable community development in higher education.
