We strictly adhere to generally accepted publication ethics and benchmark our administrative, review, and publication practices against the standards of top-tier indexing bodies. Our operations are anchored on three core values:

Important Notice on Publication as a Privilege: IRMR firmly believes that scholarly publication is a privilege extended to authors. While we strive to remain inclusive, accessible, and affordable, this accessibility demands absolute reciprocity. Authors must maintain strict, unwavering respect toward the publisher, editorial board, and journal staff at all times.

1. Editorial Standards & Workflow

To maintain excellence, IRMR implements a multi-stage editorial workflow. All submissions are subjected to a Double-Blind Peer Review process involving independent subject-matter experts.

• Phase 1: Screening (2 Days): Technical/ethical audit, including plagiarism/AI detection and metadata validation. Note: Authors must finalize all metadata here; changes are not permitted after acceptance.

• Phase 2: Evaluation (7 Days): A rigorous peer-review cycle followed by final editorial decisions.

• Phase 3: Administrative (3 Days): Finalization of legal agreement forms.

• Phase 4: Production (10 Days): Copyediting, DOI assignment, and final publication through our OJS portal.

2. Ethical Compliance

IRMR operates in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173). Authors must sign formal declarations ensuring authorship integrity. Any appeals regarding editorial decisions must be submitted via a formal Letter of Appeal.

3. Data Transparency & Reproducibility

• DOI Assignment: IRMR is responsible for the professional registration of your article’s DOI via Crossref.

• Data Repositories: To ensure accessibility, IRMR manages the hosting of raw data and code on GitHub and facilitates long-term archival via HAL Open Science.

• Author Responsibility: Authors must upload their finalized, published article to their ResearchGate profile and provide the journal with proof of completion.

4. Indexing, Preservation, and Discoverability

• Author Identification: Use of ORCID iDs is highly encouraged for all authors.

• Digital Preservation: All works are indexed and archived on the official IRMR OJS portal.

• Global Indexing Alignment: IRMR content is distributed to and discoverable via Google Scholar, OpenAlex, Scilit, Semantic Scholar, Lens.org, and other existing and emerging indexing bodies.

5. Publication Model

IRMR operates under an Open Access (OA) model, utilizing a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. Structured processing fees sustain our editorial team and production quality; all rates are clearly detailed on our website.
