Dennis A. De Jesus, MAEd, is an educator, researcher, academic administrator, and scholarly publishing professional whose work focuses on English language education, educational management, inclusive education, digital learning, and interdisciplinary educational research. Through his active engagement in teaching, research, academic leadership, and scholarly publishing, he has contributed to advancing evidence-based educational practices and promoting research excellence in both basic and higher education.
Mr. De Jesus earned his Bachelor of Secondary Education degrees major in Biological Science from St. Mary's College of Baliuag and major in English from Bulacan State University–Bustos Campus. He completed his Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management at Baliwag University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. His interdisciplinary academic background enables him to integrate language education, educational leadership, communication, and research into innovative teaching and scholarly inquiry.
He currently serves as Program Head of the Education Department at Liceo de Pulilan Colleges and has held various academic positions as a research faculty member, research instructor, professor, English coordinator, and district officer-in-charge. Throughout his academic career, he has taught English, communication, and research courses while mentoring students and faculty in research design, academic writing, and scholarly publication. His leadership has also contributed to curriculum development, faculty supervision, and institutional quality improvement.
As an active researcher, Mr. De Jesus has authored numerous scholarly publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals covering topics such as educational technology, artificial intelligence in education, mental health, information literacy, reading comprehension, climate change awareness, homeschooling, educational leadership, media studies, and language education. His research demonstrates a commitment to addressing contemporary educational and societal issues through interdisciplinary and data-driven approaches. His study on climate change awareness received the Best Research Paper Award during the 2024 International Research and Innovation for Sustainable Education (I-RISE) Hybrid Conference, recognizing the quality and relevance of his scholarly work.
Beyond research production, Mr. De Jesus actively contributes to the scholarly publishing community through his extensive editorial and peer-review service. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Psychology and Educational Research and the Critical Journal of Social Sciences, Associate Editor of the Educational Journal of Learning Technology, and holds editorial and peer-review roles in several international journals. His work as a reviewer, scientific committee member, and editorial board member reflects his commitment to maintaining academic integrity, strengthening publication quality, and supporting the dissemination of impactful research across multiple disciplines.
