Dr. John Emil Dolosa Estera, PhD is a Filipino educator, researcher, author, and academic editor specializing in Filipino language education, applied linguistics, and educational research. He currently serves as Teacher III in the Senior High School Department of Juban National High School under the Schools Division Office of Sorsogon. With years of experience in both public and private educational institutions, he has dedicated his career to advancing Filipino language instruction, scholarly research, and teacher professional development.

Dr. Estera earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Filipino from Sorsogon State University, where his dissertation focused on the development of Piling Larang Akademik: Suplementaryong Aklat-Teknolohiya Batayang Pagkatuto (PLAS ATBP) for the teaching of Filipino academic writing. He also completed his Master of Arts in Education, major in Filipino, at Sorsogon State University, where his thesis examined the role of the Filipino language in promoting Jubangnon tourism. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Education, major in Filipino, from Saint Louise de Marillac College of Sorsogon, providing him with a solid foundation in language education and pedagogy.
